The Senior Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients by performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including vascular studies, with precision and expertise. This role is essential in providing accurate diagnostic information to radiologists, facilitating effective patient care.

As a vital member of the Diagnostic Imaging department, the technologist will actively contribute to departmental growth and innovation by sharing insights and identifying areas for enhancement. The commitment to quality care and continuous improvement is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Engage in departmental development initiatives and contribute valuable suggestions.
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical sonography program.
  • National Registered Technologist - Sonography or National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
