Senior Avionics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Avionics Engineer to join our Vehicle Management System (VMS) Hardware Avionics team as a member of the Navigation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigation subsystem lab testing, flight test support, anomaly resolution, and supplier management, among other duties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
- At least 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in STEM, 6 years with Master's degree in STEM, or 3 years with a PhD and STEM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Visio) and Matlab.
- Requirements verification testing: Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, signal analyzers, multi-meters): Some experience.
