Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - Avionics Systems Architect

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Avionics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading designs for the sub-systems that form the backbone of our satellites' internal communication, power distribution, sensor aggregation, and flight computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design, and develop space and radiation-tolerant electronics that support the operation of our satellites.
  • Drive electronics design from concept development to qualification, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
  • Work closely with our CMs to ensure designs are manufacturable, built on-time, and meet Astranis's quality and reliability needs.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, ensuring project stakeholders are regularly informed.
  • Help build optimal processes for hardware development and collaboration across the company.
Requirements:
  • B.S. or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a similar technical degree.
  • 8+ years of professional experience with fast-paced product design cycles.
  • Strong analog/mixed-signal circuit design skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
