We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Dance Education Specialist to join our team at Chara Christian Dance Academy in South Houston.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality dance instruction to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.

The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience and be proficient in hip hop dance techniques.

You will work closely with our School Director, Meghan Owen, to develop a positive and engaging dance program that fosters student growth and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach dance classes to students of various ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive studio environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Prior teaching experience in dance education.
  • Proficiency in hip hop dance techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
