Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist-Driver to join our team at Savealifenow. As a Phlebotomist-Driver, you will be responsible for performing donor suitability evaluations, conducting blood collections, and ensuring the safety and quality of the blood collected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform donor suitability evaluations and conduct blood collections in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure the safety and quality of the blood collected, including storage and transportation
  • Assist in the set-up and break down of mobile site equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and community members
  • Maintain confidentiality of donor information and adhere to CBC safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant degree preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Valid MO Class E Driver's License or KS Class C Driver's License with excellent driving history
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 6 months experience in a health-related field and phlebotomy
