We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist-Driver to join our team at Savealifenow. As a Phlebotomist-Driver, you will be responsible for performing donor suitability evaluations, conducting blood collections, and ensuring the safety and quality of the blood collected.
Key Responsibilities- Perform donor suitability evaluations and conduct blood collections in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure the safety and quality of the blood collected, including storage and transportation
- Assist in the set-up and break down of mobile site equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and community members
- Maintain confidentiality of donor information and adhere to CBC safety policies and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant degree preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Valid MO Class E Driver's License or KS Class C Driver's License with excellent driving history
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and customer service skills
- At least 6 months experience in a health-related field and phlebotomy
