We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist I to join our team at Cornerstones of Care. As a Therapist I - School Based Services, you will play a vital role in supporting students, families, and district personnel in the Grandview School District to address personal, emotional, and social problems.

Job Summary:

The Therapist I - School Based Services will provide individual, family, group therapy, and/or wrap-around case management support to students, as well as crisis management as needed. You will also support center staff and personnel with individual therapeutic and crisis management support to address personal, emotional, and social problems that interfere with their ability to provide the best education, services, and support possible to children.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family, group therapy, and/or wrap-around case management support to students
  • Support center staff and personnel with individual therapeutic and crisis management support
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address students' needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Provide crisis management support as needed
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or as a licensed professional counselor
  • Able to apply for professional licensure (e.g. LMSW, PLPC, LMFT)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
