At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director RN to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for resident care in our community, managing and directing the nursing team, and promoting the health and wellness of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical care through the direct application of the nursing process, including resident assessments, progress notes, and evaluations of care needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for residents.
- Manage and direct the nursing team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and scheduling.
- Develop and implement quality and clinical process improvement initiatives to mitigate risk and improve resident care outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and provincial regulations, as well as board of nursing requirements.
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience, with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
