Job Summary:

The NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Director of Surgery to lead our Womens and Children Ambulatory Practices. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of patient care and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume first-line leadership responsibility and accountability for managing the delivery of patient care in the Womens and Children Ambulatory Practices.
  • Facilitate efficient and cost-effective daily operations of the ambulatory practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity and consistency in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to establish unit(s) short and long-term goals and ensure alignment with the hospital's overall strategic goals.
  • Accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory, hospital, and divisional requirements.

Requirements:

  • American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification.
  • Previous Ambulatory Experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Master's Degree in Nursing in a related field (if currently pursuing a Master's Degree, must be completed within 1 year of hire).
