Job Title: RN Supervisor

The Registered Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily nursing activities at Westport Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. This role ensures that high-quality care is maintained at all times, adhering to federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.



This position requires a skilled RN with leadership abilities to supervise and coordinate the nursing team. Key responsibilities include:




  • Supervising RNs and nursing assistants to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with the Director of Nursing to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Providing guidance and support to the nursing team to promote a culture of excellence
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports as required


To be successful in this role, the RN Supervisor must possess:




  • A current and active RN license in good standing
  • CPR certification
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or healthcare facility
  • Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing practices
  • The ability to relate information about a resident's condition
