Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Rush University Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive care to our patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop patient care plans
  • Order and interpret tests, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances to the extent delegated
  • Provide direct patient care in assigned areas, which may be in a hospital or ambulatory setting

Requirements:

  • Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure
  • Current Certification from National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Degree from an ARC-PA (or predecessor) accredited PA Program
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Licensure
  • Current Nurse Practitioner Certification from a national certifying organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
