Job Title: Hematology Advanced Practice Provider

Rush University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Hematology Advanced Practice Provider to join their Cancer Service Line. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting, including history and physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication management and education.
  • Conduct bone marrow biopsy procedures and provide support to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Licensure.
  • Current Certification from National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
