Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our Early Intervention Team at North Suffolk Community Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating children between birth and three years of age who require specialized therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify children's physical therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote children's physical development and independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and their families.
  • Provide education and training to staff and families on pediatric physical therapy techniques and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of children's progress and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children from birth to three years of age.
  • Early Intervention certification with DPH required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
