Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our Lee Family Practice location in MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, including triaging patients by telephone or walk-in, assisting physicians in procedures, and managing patient records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Facilitate comprehensive care for all patients, including triaging patients by telephone or walk-in.
- Assist physicians in procedures, including administering immunizations and allergy shots.
- Manage patient records, including processing laboratory results and charting procedures.
- Respond to patient emergencies, within the scope of RN license.
- Screen, triage, and respond to patients' inquiries via telephone, EMR messages, or walk-in.
- Assist with referrals to area specialists, PT-1 forms, patient education, and supervising medical assistants as needed.
- An RN/BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- A minimum of three years' experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred.
- Electronic medical records experience is required, with experience with Athena being a plus.
- Licensed as a RN by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
