We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Peri-Anesthesia Care Unit team at Cape Coral Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with other professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the organization's vision and mission by providing exceptional customer service and contributing to performance improvement initiatives.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in a peri-anesthesia care unit or similar setting required; qualified individuals will successfully complete a competency assessment.
- Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
- Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
- Certification in specialty area preferred.
