Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the organization's vision and mission by providing exceptional customer service and contributing to performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a peri-anesthesia care unit or similar setting required; qualified individuals will successfully complete a competency assessment.
  • Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
  • Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.
