What constitutes profit for Flock and Nest? It includes creating meaningful employment, fostering local procurement, ensuring work-life balance, and promoting justice. Our community thrives with our presence, alongside profitability. The Chief Business Officer plays a crucial role in balancing these priorities.
In 2023, Nest DC revamped our service delivery model to enhance efficiency, profitability, and our reputation. This redesign is further supported by investments in brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and robust vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive business plan for Maryland and the expansion of co-living spaces, including market analysis, staffing needs, budget considerations, competitive landscape, marketing strategies, and projected revenue potential.
- Monitor portfolio composition and adjust client targets as sales increase, while establishing an offboarding strategy.
- Oversee performance review processes and their application.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with financial objectives.
- Stay informed about market and industry developments and opportunities.

- Manage and assess our technology stack, including Notion, Rippling, and Lead Simple.
- Oversee sales and onboarding processes.
