About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at iParametrics. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing critical structures in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects.
  • Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.
  • Conduct construction document reviews as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects.
  • Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities.
  • Familiarity with CAD applications.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.
  • Nuclear experience is highly desired.
  • Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
Benefits and Compensation

As a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is hourly ($65-$90/hr.), based on experience, background, and skills.
