About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Water Design Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing structural designs for water and wastewater treatment projects, as well as leading project teams to produce plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop structural designs for water and wastewater treatment projects
  • Lead project teams to produce plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 10 or more years of technical experience in environmental structural design engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain PE registration in South Carolina, Texas, and other states of practice
  • Strong communication and teaching skills
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of structural complexities associated with water and wastewater treatment equipment
  • Master's degree in civil or structural engineering
  • Registration as a Structural Engineer or willingness to take the NCEES Structural Engineer exam within two years of employment
