About the Role:

The Dixon Group is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in a key role that involves all aspects of purchasing with domestic as well as international suppliers. This individual will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and tracking purchase orders through the purchasing process, ensuring that all purchasing related documents are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and Sourcing: Procure materials, equipment, and services from domestic and international suppliers, ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with corporate objectives and policies.
  • Purchase Order Management: Prepare, review, and track purchase orders through the purchasing process, ensuring that all orders are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including inputting changes into the purchasing system, such as inventory purchase orders, price changes, and system updates.
  • Contract Negotiation: Participate in contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors, ensuring that all contracts are consistent with corporate objectives and policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on procurement activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, leadership, or a related business role.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in negotiating vendor pricing and measuring vendor quality and delivery performance.
  • Certifications: CSCP Certification desired.
