About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Circle K. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store's operations, including hiring, supervising, and training staff
  • Ensure that the store is well-stocked, clean, and organized, and that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced
  • Manage cash handling and bookkeeping duties, including processing transactions and reconciling cash and credit card sales
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Identify and address any operational issues or concerns, and implement solutions to improve store performance
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement store policies and procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
