Responsibilities:

  1. Process guests' orders accurately to ensure proper recording of sales.
  2. Handle all monies and tenders accurately to ensure proper accounting of all transactions.
  3. Properly bag guests' orders, place in cart or hand to guests, and follow KJ's Market's carryout practices.
  4. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards.
  6. Direct guests into their designated lanes to maintain customer flow and achieve the Guests Arrival standard.
  7. Maintain cash controls and procedures to minimize shrinkage.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of the store.

Qualifications:

  1. Exhibit a friendly and outgoing personality, providing excellent customer service.
  2. Ability to work well with others, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  3. Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 15 pounds constantly.
  4. Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  5. Demonstrate successful use of math skills, accurately handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  6. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, moving around the store as needed.
  7. Effective communication and customer service skills, providing a positive experience for guests.
  8. Ability to retrieve and push shopping carts, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  9. Ability to bend and lift to load guests' orders into cars, ensuring safe and efficient service.
