Job Description

Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

About Us: Harbor Freight Tools is a 45-year-old, $8 billion national tool retailer with a strong presence in 48 states across the country. We offer our customers a wide range of tools and accessories, from hand tools and generators to air and power tools, shop equipment, and automotive tools.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will be empowered to provide a great experience for our customers, handle various sales transactions, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized store.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Encourage customers to participate in company programs and promotions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
  • Ability to intermittently lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift.
