Electrical Engineer with Motion Control Expertise

Join QuEST Global Services Pte. Ltd, a leading engineering services firm, in shaping the future of innovation. As an Electrical Engineer with Motion Control Expertise, you will be part of a team that designs and develops cutting-edge electrical systems for precision motion control stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical systems and subsystems according to system motion profiles and control architectures.
  • Select motor drivers, controllers, and motors, and perform motor sizing to meet system requirements.
  • Develop electrical interlock and safety protection systems within control architecture.
  • Perform vibration analysis of electromechanical systems.
Requirements:
  • PhD or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Robotics Engineering with a focus on control system design.
  • Expertise in control synthesis, embedded software design, and knowledge of DSP and FPGA programming.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and accelerometers.
  • Knowledge of systems identification and mathematical modeling of complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming (Ladder code), Siemens preferred.
Desired Skills:
  • Thorough technical knowledge of electrical engineering design concepts and applications.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and components, control systems, relays, power supplies, and cable harnesses.
  • Experience with electrical CAD tools, such as Siemens S7 1200 PLC, AutoCAD, OrCAD, and Microsoft Visio.
  • Working knowledge of engineering change management software packages, such as SAP.
