We are seeking a skilled Forklift Maintenance Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a Forklift Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the proper repair and maintenance of a large fleet of forklifts and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment
  • Determine when major components or assemblies require repair, rebuilding, or replacement
  • Prepare written estimates for corrective repairs
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in forklift maintenance and repair
  • Extensive knowledge of forklift operating systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Ability to weld simple parts and operate a forklift, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly
