Job Summary

AISIN World Corp. of America is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and maintaining endpoint applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to endpoint applications, hardware, and software.
  • Maintain and update endpoint applications, including anti-virus software and productivity tools.
  • Assist with hardware and software inventory tasks and ensure accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the IS Analyst III to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively support Windows 10/11 OS, Office 365 apps, Lenovo PCs, and Apple iPhones.
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, Microsoft Office 365, and endpoint technologies.
  • Effective problem-solving and quick resolution of technical issues.
  • Self-starter who can execute tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks, projects, etc. to maintain a high productivity level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Help Desk operations and ticket management experience.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, WAN, server, etc. components.
  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing IT equipment (e.g. Scan guns).

Education/Training/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant technology-specific certifications (e.g. Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA+).

Travel Requirements:

  • Approximately 5% travel required.
  • Must be willing and available to travel to meet business needs.

Work Environment Requirements:

  • Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Must perform job duties onsite, when necessary.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Attendance/Work Hour Requirements:

  • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
  • Must be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
