Paraprofessional with Registered Behavior Technician Certification

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paraprofessional with Registered Behavior Technician Certification to join our team at The Menta Group. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing targeted teaching and support to students in the classroom, as well as general support for all students in the school.
Responsibilities- Manage classroom behaviors and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Report behavioral concerns of students to appropriate staff and implement behavioral program policies and data.
- Provide general supervision of students inside the school setting and assist in the prevention and management of incidents of non-compliance and/or escalation in behavior.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide interventions to students to assist in managing behaviors.
- Think quickly, independently, and tactfully to address the needs of students and staff.
- Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Paraprofessional Certification is ideal, but not required (we will help you obtain that).
- Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful.
- Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.
- Good driving record and willingness to drive student van (no CDL needed) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate tactfully under stress and flexibility to change in routines.
- At least 23 years of age and able to work with high-risk special needs students.
