Plasma Center Receptionist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Plasma Center Receptionist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, answering phones, and performing administrative tasks to support plasma center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility, including new and repeat donors, promptly and exhibiting customer service skills.
- Assist donors with appointments, create or pull donor record files, and provide customer service to donors and fellow employees.
- Maintain an orderly filing system, purge records, and report to the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement.
What You Bring to Takeda:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
