Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Lincare Holdings. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and processing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Processing: Review and enter prescription and medical documentation to fulfill dispensing RXs and billing RXs for pharmacy and insurance.
  • Order Preparation: Generate accurate prescriptions to be faxed to providers for approval, and enter customer orders and information into the computerized system.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers via inbound and outbound manual and/or automated calls to answer questions and refill medications and/or supplies.
  • Documentation and Verification: Verify and confirm Medicare Part B benefits and supplemental insurance coverage as needed with physician offices and insurance companies, and obtain pre-certifications and written insurance verifications as needed.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull and package appropriate equipment and/or medications to fill orders, and affix proper prescription and barcode labels to medication boxes.
  • Inventory Management: Stock workstations with appropriate supplies, product, and/or equipment, and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
