About the Role:The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of previous safety experience in engineering and/or civil construction work. They will thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, with a strong focus on construction projects and completing assignments on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Observing, identifying, and potentially correcting construction safety methods and workmanship to ensure contractors comply with state and federal safety regulations.
- Documenting, reporting, and training on jobsite-related incidents and injuries.
- Overseeing the study of accidents and potential risks, compiling reports, and recommending preventative or corrective safety actions.
- Leading by example and fostering safety through coaching and counseling.
- Identifying, documenting, and resolving onsite safety risks or discrepancies during daily site walks.
- Evaluating and identifying all safety equipment needs for project work.
