Job Title: Field Service Foreman

Clean Harbors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Foreman to join our team. As a Field Service Foreman, you will be responsible for the direct supervision of Field Technicians and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of field service and emergency response projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train Field Technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and H&S standards and regulations.
  • Manage large-scale field service and emergency response projects, including site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Coordinator to communicate manpower, equipment, and resource requirements for field service and emergency response projects.
  • Perform physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects, and operate light and heavy equipment, hand tools, and powered industrial tools.
  • Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection.
  • Work in various temperatures, indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, and in potentially hazardous environments.
  • Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
  • Climb ladders, scaffolding, and into and out of trucks, tanks, and containers.
  • Work extended hours, including overnight travel, and be on-call for emergency response.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a physically intensive role and supervisory or leadership position.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for extended periods.
  • Ability to be on-call for emergency response and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in environmental and/or industrial settings, including site remediation, spill response, and hazardous material handling.
  • Commercial driver's license and experience with heavy equipment, such as bobcats and excavators.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a safety-focused role and knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Experience with environmental and industrial equipment, including vacuum trucks and tank cleaning.
