Location Overview:

Situated at the base of Snow King Mountain, just a short distance from downtown, Snow King Resort Hotel offers stunning views of the Teton Mountain Range and a plethora of activities and amenities for our guests. As the largest venue in Jackson, we feature over 20,000 square feet of versatile indoor and outdoor event space, alongside 203 guest rooms and luxury vacation condo rentals.

Position Summary:

We are in search of a qualified and driven Housekeeping Supervisor.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee, guide, and ensure the completion of housekeeping duties assigned to Room Attendants and Housepersons, maintaining the high cleanliness standards of Snow King Resort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections of VIP rooms, guest accommodations, and corridors to ensure cleanliness and aesthetic appeal. Prepare work orders for carpet cleaning and ensure room attendants maintain adequate stock levels in supply closets.
  • Train and evaluate the performance of room attendants and housepersons, providing organization, instruction, and effective communication while upholding our high quality standards. Prepare performance reports for all personnel in the assigned area and submit them to the Housekeeping office.
  • Take inventory of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies as needed. Ensure that carts and linen/supply closets are organized, clean, and stocked according to departmental guidelines. Verify that all VIP supplies are in place during inspections.
  • Report maintenance issues in guest rooms and corridors through work orders, and communicate urgent deficiencies to the maintenance department.
  • Facilitate special guest requests, such as additional towels, blankets, or pillows.
  • Assist room attendants and housepersons in obtaining necessary supplies and tools for their tasks as required.
  • Report any suspicious activities or hazardous conditions to management.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide assistance, directions, and information as needed.
  • Offer guidance for guest and employee safety during emergencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting Room Attendants when necessary.

Regular attendance in alignment with the standards set by Snow King Resort is crucial for the successful execution of this role.

Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work flexible schedules to meet the operational needs of the hotel.

Upon joining, all employees must adhere to Snow King Resort's regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities.

  • Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand, walk continuously, climb stairs, and push or pull heavy equipment.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English to complete forms such as room status reports and address guest needs.
  • Ability to provide clear direction and guidance to team members.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Judgment and control over team performance.
