Ensures safe production of quality products to meet customer needs in the most cost-effective manner. Promote both food and personal safety.Work Environment & Shift:On-site daily to support 12-hour shifts, with rotating 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 on, and 2 days off within a 2-week period.What will you do as a Production Supervisorat Dawn Foods? Establish and drive safety as a core value through training, equipment and job design, work assignments, and regulatory compliance. Assures that all products produced meet product specifications, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Establish high-performance standards in housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), American Institute of Baking (AIB), International Food Standard (IFS), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements. Manages daily production requirements to consistently meet customer expectations. Evaluate team performance efficiencies and coordinate necessary resources. Coaches, teaches, coordinates, and evaluates programs for team members to develop skills advantageous to the company's needs and goals. Able to manage some initial employee relation matters and conflict Participates as a key member of the plant leadership. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Manager. Adhere to the Food Defense and Security functions within the facility.What Does It Take to be a Production Supervisor at Dawn Foods?
High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree At least 3years of Supervisory experience in manufacturing is required. Demonstrated knowledge of computers required. Experience with Microsoft Office. Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must be mature and have the ability to resolve issues in a timely, organized, and cost-efficient manner.
