Business Tax Associate

Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance on tax preparation and planning for small businesses and self-employed individuals.
- Prepare and review complex business tax returns, including partnerships and S corporations.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with customers to identify tax savings opportunities and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to provide accurate and timely tax advice.
- 3+ years of experience in business tax preparation, with a strong focus on federal and state tax laws.
- Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools.
- Proficient in commercial tax preparation software and technology, including Intuit TurboTax Business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and commit to a minimum schedule of 20 hours/week during tax season.
