Key Responsibilities- Assist the provider and healthcare team in providing excellent customer service and quality patient care.
- Perform a variety of clerical and patient-related tasks, including injections, measuring patient vital signs, and managing rooming and patient flow.
- Pre-visit preparation, assisting with the patient visit, and post-visit duties.
- Inform the provider of schedule changes that impact patient flow.
- May assist with front office activities, scheduling tasks, and reporting test results as directed by the provider.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Eligible to obtain Medical Assistant Registration (application completed upon hire).
- Previous medical experience, such as NAC, EMT, or medical terminology.
- Basic computer skills and office experience.
The work environment is fast-paced and requires a combination of working closely with others. Hours may be irregular at times, and overtime may be required. The Medical Assistant Registered will work under stressful conditions and will be required to maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
