Job Overview

Position Title: Pastry Cook at Compass Group Careers

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Position Summary: The Pastry Cook is accountable for the daily creation of premium pastries, desserts, and baked items, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily preparation and distribution of all pastry items, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Ensure compliance with recipes and quality standards, manage food costs, and produce the necessary quantities based on operational requirements.
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures, presentation standards, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Monitor and uphold sanitation standards in the pastry kitchen and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
