Polysomnographer - Sleep Disorder Specialist

Prime Healthcare is seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at the St. Joseph Sleep Center. As a member of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for performing sleep disorder center procedures, including sleep data analysis and report generation, diagnostic polysomnograms, and multiple sleep latency tests.
Responsibilities- Perform sleep disorder center procedures, including sleep data analysis and report generation, diagnostic polysomnograms, and multiple sleep latency tests.
- Assist the Sleep Center lead/director in daily operations, including scheduling, answering phones, and other duties as directed.
- May be responsible for staff education and training as needed.
- Provide physical and supportive care and sleep-related health education to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Certified Polysomnographic Technologist or Respiratory Therapist required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) Certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program or respiratory therapy program preferred.
- Eligible for registry through the BRPT preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year technical experience working in a sleep lab/center preferred.
