Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mission engineering analyses to inform strategic decisions aimed at enhancing capabilities and assessing performance impacts on NC3 systems.
  • Provide expert system engineering insights to evaluate and ensure the successful execution of upgrades, integration, and testing of NC3/NLCC systems and their components.
  • Support expedited technical analyses of NC3/NLCC system challenges, contributing to the broader NC3/NLCC community.
  • Assist the Government in defining NC3 Enterprise Figures of Merit (FOM) targets for model-based systems engineering and mission engineering studies.
  • Facilitate the execution of computer simulations and assessments to evaluate the implications of nuclear strategies and adversarial tactics on NC3 communication frameworks.
  • Guide the Government in formulating a transition strategy for implementing recommendations derived from mission engineering studies.
  • Analyze the NLCC/NC3 architecture through simulations and models to assess communication efficacy in both normal and high-stress nuclear scenarios; generate detailed reports and presentations based on findings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility.
  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Experience: Over 11 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to:
    • Modeling and simulation operations, including planning, coordination, demonstrations, and training support for various agencies.
    • In-depth knowledge of DOD and AF acquisition processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Expertise in implementing the DoD Systems Engineering "V" Model.
    • Experience with Agile DevOps methodologies, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery in software development.
    • Quality control in Hardware/Software development, maintenance, and testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, along with 5+ years of relevant experience in modeling and simulation.
  • Experience with USSTRATCOM weapon systems and capabilities is highly desirable.

  • The compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 to $121,000, varying by location and based on factors such as experience, skills, and education.
