Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Procurement Director to lead our company-wide transition from regional purchasing functions to centralized corporate procurement strategies for mobile transportation fleet and chemical purchasing functions.

About the Role
  • Lead the implementation of a national procurement strategy in multiple categories, issue regional pricing guidelines, while adjusting tactical action plans in dynamic market conditions.
  • Leverage supplier reduction process to strengthen strategic business partnerships while reducing total cost of operations for the enterprise.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Establish KPIs to analyze and track performance gains, reporting results to executive leadership.
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Finance, or Economics is preferred.
  • 10+ years of national Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain experience related to large mobile fleet (500+ units) of chemical transportation tractors, tankers, trailers, and related service vehicles.
  • 5+ years of multi-site Supervisory or Managerial experience.
  • Professional certifications such as: Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, APICS CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, CSCMP SCPRO, CTL, CTP, or related credentials are a plus.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, including a performance bonus, full medical/dental benefits, a matching 401-K plan, and paid vacation. Our client is proud to be an inclusive Equal Opportunity Employer.
