Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Finance Administrative Specialist to support our client in their financial operations. This role involves a variety of responsibilities within the Finance Department, focusing on both daily and monthly tasks.

Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour

This position is essential for maintaining efficient financial processes, including:

  • Assisting with financial projects and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Providing backup for the Cash Application role and managing travel expense reports.
  • Collecting receivables through various customer platforms.
  • Retrieving and validating credit card receipts for multiple managers, ensuring proper electronic documentation.
  • Performing maintenance and service tasks related to credit card functions.
  • Training in Cash Application processes to support the Cash Application Specialist.
  • Entering invoices and managing payments through customer portals.
  • Assisting the credit department with account reconciliations and necessary corrections.
  • Supporting the month-end close process by recording journal entries and generating reports.
  • Assisting the Tax department with monthly filings and gathering documentation for audits.
  • Organizing and distributing Finance Department documents for audits.
  • Providing assistance to other departments as needed to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handling daily mail distribution for processing.
  • Engaging in special projects as assigned by the Finance Department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Dependable and self-motivated.
  • Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capable of performing filing and record-keeping tasks efficiently.
