With a robust team of over 500 legal professionals, the firm merges extensive technical knowledge with legal acumen to assist clients leading in technological progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage patent prosecution activities, including the preparation and submission of documents to the USPTO.
- Engage directly with clients and attorneys, delivering outstanding service and support throughout the patent lifecycle.
- Maintain and update patent dockets, ensuring adherence to all deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and review patent-related communications, including emails, memos, and official documents.
- Assist in preparing Information Disclosure Statements (IDS) and other complex filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical patent records.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in U.S. patent filing and portfolio management.
- In-depth knowledge of USPTO guidelines and procedures.
- Proficiency in PTO platforms (e.g., EFS, PAIR, EPAS) and docketing systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with international patent filing processes.
- Understanding of patent regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
