Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim School Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing our swim school operations, including enrollment, customer engagement, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Staff Development
    • Coach and counsel non-exempt personnel on job performance and compliance with company policies
    • Implement company policies and procedures
    • Build trusted relationships with staff to advance a positive organizational culture
    • Support recruiting efforts and staff training
  • Business Objectives
    • Oversee enrollment management, customer engagement initiatives, and operating practices
    • Support the General Manager in implementing financial goals, including lesson and retail revenue, controllable expenses, and staffing levels
  • Customer Service
    • Represent the Foss Swim School brand and values
    • Build relationships with customers to create loyalty and excitement for our brand and programs
  • Facility Care
    • Ensure facility cleanliness standards are met
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in a supervisor role or one year of experience at Foss Swim School
  • Experience in retail, health and fitness, or related fields preferred
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team
  • Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with high personal integrity and sound judgment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to participate in organizational events as necessary
Working Conditions

This is an exempt position with established deadlines and quality standards. While performing the duties of this position, incumbents may be required to work in water, demonstrate physical movements necessary to teach swim lessons, and work in a warm and humid environment.
