Job Title: Phlebotomist

At Integrated Oncology Network, LLC, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in our team by providing professional care to Urology patients in an outpatient setting.

Job Purpose:

The Phlebotomist is responsible for identifying the best method for retrieving specimens, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and performing screening procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient information by reading patient labels and performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
  • Maintain specimen integrity by using aseptic technique and following department procedures.
  • Track collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years phlebotomy experience required.
  • Urology experience preferred.
