- Experience with Backup Generators: Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup generators.
- Technical Experience with Work Order Systems: Familiarity with work order systems such as Maximo.
- Strong Knowledge of Electrical Systems: Components, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Experience with High-Voltage Systems: Specialized aerospace equipment and systems.
- Ability to Read and Interpret Technical Drawings: Blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook for documentation and reporting.
- Physical Demands: Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Security Clearance: Must pass a background check and drug test; security clearance may be required due to the nature of the aerospace environment.
- Journeyman's License: Preferred, but candidates actively working towards obtaining their license will be considered.
