Position Overview
As a Maintenance Engineering Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team located in Stafford, TX, where you will receive comprehensive training on our advanced Print Production machinery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing complex technical maintenance tasks on production equipment.
  • Adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule for both mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Completing assigned maintenance work orders and monitoring the progress of your tasks throughout the facility.

As a valued member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to pursue further education at a local college, supported by the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, repair, or replace components and production machinery.
  • Ensure proper alignment and fitting of mechanical parts for optimal performance.
  • Utilize troubleshooting methods to implement both temporary and permanent solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues on various equipment, including Statement and Invoice machines, Mail Inserters, and Printers.
  • Interpret and analyze schematic diagrams for electronic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting.
  • A willingness to pursue further education or certification is essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with data entry on computers.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and soldering equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics, or equivalent military training.
  • 5-10 years of experience in production maintenance with a focus on electronic repairs.
  • Familiarity with specific printing and inserting equipment.

Work Schedule
This position involves working a designated schedule, including potential overtime on weekends and holidays.
