Epic Piping is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our Fabrication team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating cranes under general supervision, lifting, positioning, and placing materials or large objects needed in bays.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate crane under general supervision to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
- Lift, position, and place material or other large objects needed in bays.
- Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy to ensure quality work.
- Operate crane according to signals from helper to ensure seamless operation.
- Start and stop crane controls as needed to maintain efficient operation.
- Follow directions carefully to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of six months' experience with overhead crane operation.
- Computer Skills: Not applicable.
- Certification/Licenses: None specifically required.
