Job Title: Cardiovascular Sonographer

Saint Vincent Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary:

The Cardiovascular Sonographer will be responsible for performing a variety of echocardiogram procedures, including 2D and stress echocardiograms, as well as assisting during transesophageal echocardiograms. You will work closely with cardiologists to complete preliminary reports and accurately identify pathology. Your ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team will be essential in delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform 2D echocardiograms accurately and of diagnostic quality
  • Assist during stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms
  • Complete preliminary reports for interpreting cardiologists
  • Identify pathology and provide accurate results
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program
  • Registered or registry-eligible, with completion of certification within 6 months of hire
  • Current BLS certification
Work Schedule:

32 hours per week, with a flexible schedule of 8:00am-4:30pm, 4-5 days per week, with weekends as needed in rotation

Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening, including a drug screen
