Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform specialized cardiac ultrasound procedures according to established protocols.
  • Operate various types of ultrasound equipment, including portable units, to capture high-quality images.
  • Record and maintain accurate patient records, including ultrasound images and reports.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Specialized post-secondary training equal to two years of college.
  • Registration required by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) for cardiac specialties.
