Position Overview:

As an Industrial Relations Coordinator, you will oversee daily work practices on field projects, proactively identifying and addressing potential labor issues. Your role will involve supporting staffing strategies, conducting wage trend analyses, and developing training programs that foster positive workplace relationships and ensure compliance with labor regulations. Regular travel to various project sites will be integral to this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation of internal labor studies and Industrial Relations reports through comprehensive research.
  • Conduct research and generate statistical analyses on productivity, workforce availability, and industry trends.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new craft professional employees.
  • Support recruitment, training, investigations, and other related tasks as directed by the Industrial Relations Manager.
  • Analyze labor market reports to prepare wage bulletins and trend studies.
  • Contribute to labor surveys for projects, gathering supply and demand data and competitive project insights.
  • Prepare wage bulletins for estimating prospective projects and research relevant government wage data.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss immediate and anticipated industrial relations needs.
  • Travel to project sites nationwide to assist with Industrial Relations execution.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

Requires a University degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience or 5-6 years of applicable work experience.

Essential Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
