Role Objective:
To ensure a pristine and welcoming dining atmosphere for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Your warm and knowledgeable service will help guests feel assured in their choice to dine with us.
- Efficiently operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines and hand wash stations.
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Receive and properly store deliveries, ensuring stock rotation.
- Organize and store clean wares in designated areas.
- Utilize cleaning agents effectively in the three-compartment sink for dishwashing.
- Inspect and organize cleaned items, returning soiled items for re-cleaning as necessary.
- Sort and wash silverware with care.
- Manage dirty bus tubs and maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas.
- Regularly empty trash receptacles and maintain the dumpster area.
- Ensure proper disposal of glass and recycling materials.
- Protect kitchen equipment and utensils from loss or damage.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues.
- Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables when required.
- Support servers in managing room service trays as needed.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience with established hospitality brands is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work indoors in a controlled environment, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Must be able to stand and move efficiently for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maneuver in limited spaces and perform various physical tasks.
- Requires manual dexterity for operating kitchen equipment and performing cleaning duties.
