Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutritionist II to join our team at the State of New Mexico. As a key member of our Public Health Division, you will play a vital role in promoting healthy eating habits and providing essential nutrition services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nutritional screenings and assessments to determine eligibility for our WIC program
  • Prescribe food packages and provide one-on-one and group nutrition education to participants
  • Collaborate with other organizations to provide referrals and follow-up services
  • Document nutrition services provided and maintain accurate records
  • Assist in food and nutrition programs to meet nutritional requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a social, community, health, education, or nutritional field
  • Two years of experience in nutrition services, including direct client care and program management
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Working Conditions
