Job Summary: Samuels & Son Seafood, a leading provider of fresh and frozen seafood, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to assist in the warehouse with loading boxes into trucks, pulling fresh and frozen product, checking order sheets, and placing items on pallets for distribution. This role offers a fast-paced work environment, opportunities for advancement, and a competitive compensation package. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and knowledge of seafood products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selects products from a variety of fish, shellfish, and other requested items in customer orders.
  • Loads boxes and customer orders onto delivery trucks.
  • Checks completed orders to ensure compliance with order sheets.
  • Ices fish using shaved ice to pack fresh fish and other seafood for storage and shipping.
  • Works in a refrigerated area at 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
  • Prior warehouse experience.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts.
